Rob Cornilles, Vice President of ESCO Corporation, recently penned a guest opinion piece in The Oregonian calling for lifting Benson’s enrollment cap.  Mr. Cornilles joins a growing chorus of local business leaders who are concerned with the lack of young, skilled workers needed to replace our region’s aging tradesworkers.  Read more over at The Oregonian’s website.

Mr. Cornilles addressed the Portland School Board this past Monday.  He eloquently outlined the industry need for a skilled local workforce and how Benson was ideally positioned to provide that workforce as it has done for nearly a century.  You can watch his testimony on the district’s YouTube page.
