The PPS School Board voted Tuesday to allow 40 additional 9th and 10th graders enroll at Benson next fall. The vote was 5-2 with Board members Tom Koehler and Steve Buel voting no. Koehler and Buel both believe Benson’s enrollment should not be capped at all given how successful the school is at graduating students.
This move should increase Benson’s overall enrollment to around 850 students.
