Benson Tech’s Battle of the Books team “Rose City 3: Return of the Read” took 3rd place among the 50 teams from across Oregon on April 12th. While failing to repeat their championship run of last year, the team was a fierce competitor and vowed to be in contention again next year. The annual competition involves answering detailed and deep questions concerning 12 books that are different each year.
