The PIL recently honored the top Sportswoman, Sportsman, Coach and Assistant Coach at each high school. Benson’s honorees where:
- Sportswoman: Chaquinn Cook – earning 10 letters in volleyball, basketball, track & field
- Sportsman: Anthony Ross – earning 6 letters in football, basketball, track & field
- Coach: VaSheeta James – Cheer
- Assistant Coach: Page Mesher – Boys Basketball
