Tech Geometry partners with City Hall

Over the past few years, Benson has been exploring an innovative method for teaching algebra and geometry through hands-on activities.  The geometry curriculum  (aka Tech Geometry) has typically resulted in a freestanding shed that the students design and build themselves, which is then donated to a site such as Dignity Village.

In it’s search for innovative solutions to the City’s homeless problem, City Hall is partnering with Benson to create “hard tent” designs that can be easily built to provide safe, affordable shelter to the homeless.
