A few congratulations are in order for the students of Benson Polytechnic:

• Well done Lady Techsters on taking 4th place at the OSAA State Basketball Tournament, after an undefeated PIL regular season.
• Congratulations to Jackelyn Mercado (3rd – Medical Spelling) and Clio Tzetos and Violet Meyers (1st – CPR/First Aid) for their excellent showing at the 2022 Oregon State HOSA Conference. Jackelyn, Clio and Violet are eligible to complete at the national competition this summer.
• Benson Wrestling had 5 state qualifiers: Simon Shulevitz (Senior, 126lbs – district champ), Bryan Yanase (Senior, 138lbs), Dennis Jacob (Junior, 152lbs), Eamon Folkerth (Senior, 170lbs), Angel Werner (Sophomore, 235lbs).
• Benson Wrestling also had the top team GPA out of any team in the entire state (6A-1A) with a combined 3.73 GPA.
